Job Summary: Reporting to the Director of Learning Strategy the Senior eLearning Developer & Instructional Designer will work in collaboration with a team of subject-matter experts, writers, instructional design and technology experts to design, develop, and deliver learning solutions and experiences for clients. Partner with internal team and external clients serving as liaison between instructional design methodologies and technology-related deliveries. The position is currently heavy Articulate Storyline 360.

Major Accountabilities:

  • Provide practical application with e-learning development to analyze, design, develop, implement and evaluate visually appealing learning experiences
  • Enhance existing content to improve instruction and learning objectives using technical professional instructional design technology and design theories
  • Design and develop off-the-shelf and custom tools (assessments, job aids, coaching guides, learner guides etc.) to pull through related content and support learning pathway design and development
  • Revise and update existing training materials using Articulate Storyline 360, ensuring high-quality instructional design and engagement. This includes incorporating voiceover (VO) tools and overseeing the final development of revised content for optimal learner experience.
  • Provide recommendations and/or work to develop added interactivities and engaging applications to content to improve the adult learning experience
  • Represent complex concepts through the creation of compelling educational diagrams and graphics.
  • Coordinate efforts between account management, technology and other support teams to ensure learning solutions are delivered in a timely and usable manner. Ensure understanding of business objectives to improve upon the quality, thoroughness, and clarity of Storyline materials. Ensure content integrity, using instructionally sound design principles and theories
  • Support custom development of products as requested by the client
  • Ensure project plan schedules are updated and communication related to content development, revisions. etc., are coordinated with key stakeholders
  • Work as part of a coordinated team to identify and implement content or technology improvements that enhance the learner experience
  • Stay current with educational technology tools and their applicability to online and blended courses. Maintain knowledge of best practices in online education and instructional technology. Make recommendations as necessary to improve upon content development and delivery to improve client experience and increase user engagement.
  • Support the publishing and delivery of training content to enhance the holistic learner experience.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to other curriculum team members on eLearning design and development strategies.
  • Readily perform other duties as requested to support the organization’s vision, mission and to meet defined business objectives

Minimum Education Required:
Bachelor’s in educational technology, instructional design, or related field required; Masters in instructional technology, design or curriculum preferred

Minimum Years of Experience Required:
• 4-6 years of related experience in curriculum/training design and building online course content within learning management systems
• Articulate storyline experience required
• AI and Learning Technology experience required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience within the Pharmaceutical training environment
• Experience designing, developing, and executing training workshops for new hires, existing personnel and meeting workshops
• Experience working with MLR content reviews Adobe Creative Cloud experience strongly preferred
• Foundational programming experience with basic knowledge of HTML and CSS strongly preferred
• Experience with Veeva tools strongly preferred
