Central Office Technician
The Central Office Technician will be responsible for the maintenance and troubleshooting of the company's Digital Switching, ADSL, VDSL, Coax, & Fiber Networks along with TDM and IP Transport Systems. Responsibilities also include the maintenance and troubleshooting of the company's Digital and Analog Video Head-ends. Qualified candidate must have strong PC knowledge (Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, or equivalent) and possess the ability to identify, analyze, and correct technical problems in a timely manner. Special consideration will be given to candidates who have previous experience working in Telephony or IP background. Excellent communications and interpersonal skills are required. Must be willing to work "on-call" on a rotational basis which will include night and weekend work. Minimum education requirements include a 2-year degree in Electronics however routing/switching certification is preferred. Relevant work experience will also be considered.
