Director of Communications

The Director of Communications directs and oversees communications initiatives that effectively describe and promote the Catholic Conference of Illinois (CCI) and its advocacy agenda. Will develop and promote strategic methods to mobilize support for issues and ideas that CCI supports. Must have strong writing skills and knowledge of social and multimedia tools. Requires knowledge of the Catholic Church and of government and its functions, especially the State of Illinois but also federal government. Bachelor's degree, preferably in communications, journalism, political science or liberal arts.
