Botetourt County is seeking highly motivated candidates for a newly created Recruitment & Retention Specialist in the Department of Fire & EMS. The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for maximizing the recruitment and retention efforts of the department through marketing, outreach, and relationship building within the fire and EMS community. The Recruitment & Retention Specialist is a civilian position withinthe Department of Fire & EMS responsible for maximizing the recruitment efforts and aiding in the development and implementation of retention strategies. The main focus of this position will be the development and implementation of a recruitment and retention plan for fire and EMS volunteer and career personnel in concert with department leadership.

Salary Range: $32,210 to $48,315 DOQ
