Payroll Coordinator

Do you have an accounting, specifically payroll background? BRBH is seeking a detail-oriented person who is motivated to complete tasks accurately, problem solve, and is able to build positive working relationships with other departments.
This position has the overall responsibility for the accuracy and processing of the Agency's biweekly payroll in the E3 system. This includes maintaining payroll records, monitoring tax reports, and the audit of voluntary deductions to ensure accuracy. It also has responsibility for the entry of involuntary deductions such as levies and garnishments and assuring payments meet appropriate deadlines. This position is responsible for gathering, auditing and verifying all salary information in preparation for the annual Worker's Compensation audit. This position holds the responsibility for the review of quarterly and annual tax filings as well as the preparation of monthly Virginia Retirement System reports in the VRS Navigator system.
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with a hybrid work from home option available!
Minimum Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. Comparable work experience can be substituted for formal education if in related field.
- Experience: Minimum of one (1) year Payroll experience. DATIS E3 experience is preferred.
- Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
