Part-Time Therapist (20 hours)
Make a difference! Join our team for this exciting opportunity to assist individuals in crisis who need behavioral healthcare assistance. Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare has a stable history of over 50 years supporting the recovery of people with mental health disorders, substance use, developmental disabilities. We are partnering with George Mason University and local police departments from Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem and Vinton for this grant funded position needed to research the outcomes of mobile crisis services. This position will provide crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, and care coordination in the community.
This part time position is 20 hours per week - schedule is Monday through Friday from 1pm to 5pm.
Requirements:
1. Master's degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia. LPC or LCSW is a plus!
2. One year of clinical experience is a plus!
3. Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
