The Clinical Services Manager provides face to face administrative and clinical supervision to Therapists, Clinicians, Peer Recovery Specialists. This position will support the Forensic Services Director in designing, implementing, and monitoring program processes that support the agency's mission to provide quality community-based and jail-based services.

Additional duties include:

  • Be available to help address program emergencies as they occur and to sign off on staff notes.
  • Perform activities related to client services and agency procedures if staff are unable to complete them (including assessments, treatment planning, discharge planning, referrals, etc.), documenting client services, interacting with other professionals in the client's interest, and providing necessary crisis interventions.
  • Ensure coverage for all Forensic Services responsibilities, when staff are out and devise the coverage calendar as staff positions change.
  • Help with agency appointment workgroups.
  • Assist in performing additional tasks as assigned.
  • All Forensic Service Supervisors are required to work collaboratively with each other to ensure consistent program support is in place.

Pay Range: $59,559.34-$89,339.02/annually

Minimum Requirements:

  • Education: Master's degree in a human services field that fulfills the criteria for eligibility for professional licensure as a professional counselor or clinical social worker in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
  • Experience: Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience is required. Supervisory experience preferred.
  • Certifications/Licensure: Licensed in the State of Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist preferred. License-eligibility required.
  • Safe Driving Record: Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years and no criminal violations in the last five years).
  • Background Check: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
