INTERNAL Manager, Children's Outpatient Counseling

BRBH is seeking a licensed Manager for our Children's Outpatient Counseling program. The Manager provides administrative and clinical supervision of Therapists that provide outpatient counseling services for children and adolescents at risk of or diagnosed with serious emotional disturbances. Primary responsibilities are coordination and supervision of CYFS outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling services, Adolescent Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, IACCT and State Hospital Discharge Planner. Other responsibilities include performing activities related to client services, licensure, third party payers, and agency procedures (including ongoing assessment, treatment planning, and supervision of program budget and day to day operations of program). This position is responsible for discharge planning, referrals, client orientation, etc.
Position requires on-call responsibilities (24 hours a day/7 days a week) to provide coverage, support and direction to direct service staff on issues that involve client care.

Qualifications Required:
1. License: This position requires an active, unrestricted licensure in Virginia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychologist.
2. Clinical Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience providing therapeutic interventions with Seriously Emotionally Disturbed (SED) children and adolescents and their families.
3. Safe Driving Record: Safe driving record required (no more than two moving violations in the last three years, no criminal violations in the last five years).
