Intensive Care Coordinator
We are looking for an experienced candidate who is looking to grow their leadership skills, has a passion for working with families, and is able to follow the structure of the evidence-based process of High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW). Successful candidates must be self-aware, empathetic, highly organized, and enjoy meeting with and engaging a team.
The Intensive Care Coordinator implements the High Fidelity Wraparound (HFW) process for families of children and youth with complex emotional, behavioral, and environmental needs. The Coordinator facilitates the development of a short-term crisis stabilization and transitional plan; educates families and completes a Strengths, Needs, and Cultural discovery assessment; and works with the family to develop a team of service providers and natural supports. The Coordinator facilitates meetings and is responsible for leading the team through the HFW action plan. This position requires 15% travel throughout Virginia to monitor supports and meet with community agencies.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Degree: Bachelor's degree in a human services field (psychology, social work, special education, etc).
2. Experience: 2 years of clinical experience with children/adolescents.
3. Driving Record: This position may occasionally require transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
4. Able to Complete Certification: BRBH will provide the Coordinator with training for the High Fidelity Wraparound Certification. Coordinator must be able to complete the certification and participate in annual updates.
