Communications & Public Relations Coordinator
The Communications & Public Relations Coordinator assists and coordinates closely with the Chief Executive Officer to ensure positive public relations, excellent community presence to stakeholders, and professional media coverage. The Coordinator develops and implements agency-wide public relations, marketing, web presence, social media, and communications programs; may assist in implementation of BRBH events and fundraising; prepares publications, brochures and informational items; and assists CEO and designated staff to best represent BRBH in relations with media, our stakeholders, and the communities we serve. This position provides excellent marketing, public relations, and community engagement on behalf of the agency. As such, the position incumbent demonstrates a high level of professional discernment, confidentiality about sensitive matters, and excellent collaboration across agency divisions and programs, and with various internal and external communities served by the agency.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as journalism, mass communications, public relations, or marketing preferred
2. Two years' experience in public relations, marketing, or public information roles preferred.
3. Experience working with human services programs, particularly behavioral health, healthcare or community service boards preferred.
