Administrative Assistant
Do you have strong customer service skills that enjoy assisting individuals who may have mental illness or developmental disabilities?
The Administrative Assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative support duties to assure the smooth functioning of the clinical work performed at our facilities.
Additional duties include:
- Answering incoming telephone calls, screening and routing calls to appropriate staff.
- Greeting and interacting with clients who may have a mental illness, developmental disability, or substance use disorder.
- Ordering and maintaining office supplies
- Preparing accounts payable requisitions for programs being supported.
- Maintaining petty cash account(s) and records associated with these accounts.
- Making copies of materials and assemble client workbooks and program handouts.
- Distributing and sorting incoming mail.
- Make reminder calls to clients for counseling appointments and report appointment cancellations to staff members.
- Complete special projects for program managers and staff, including but not limited to preparing correspondence, printing mailing labels, and filing, as assigned.
- Cross-train for essential daily tasks with other positions in the clerical pool and provide intermittent coverage in other clerical support areas when needed for staff PTO.
This position is Full Time. The schedule is 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday - Friday (with half hour lunch).

The successful candidate will be proficient of Microsoft Office/Excel, honor client rights, and be able to project a positive/professional image under pressure.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education: High school diploma or GED
2. Experience: One year of clerical experience required. Experience interacting with a diverse population, including individuals with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use is preferred.
