Accounts Payable Specialist
Are you motivated to complete multiple tasks accurately and efficiently? BRBH is seeking a detail-oriented team player to serve as Accounts Payable Specialist.
This position is primarily responsible for processing all payments for the agency and maintaining positive working relationships with both staff and vendors. This is a fast-paced high-volume processing position in a paperless office environment. There is an immense amount of follow-up effort required to ensure collection of proper documentation and payment approvals from multiple internal and external contacts.
The Accounts Payable Specialist will also:
- Maintain and monitor the Accounts Payable electronic share file by scanning, separating and renaming invoices
- Submit check listings to positive pay system
- Process W9s and be responsible for annual 1099 reporting
- Track agency credit cards and reconcile monthly statements
- Provide backup coverage for purchasing, accounting, and audit support
The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Education: Minimum of an associate degree in accounting or business is required.2. Experience: One year experience in accounting is preferred.
3. Background: Candidates who are offered a position are required to undergo a background check and drug screen.
